THE HERITAGE
Baling Selipar inspires the core rhythm: throw, scatter, evade and rebuild.
ABOUT S4SAR / OUR STORY
A Malaysian childhood game gave us the idea. A belief in the future of play gave it a new direction.
01 / THE ORIGIN
Across Malaysian kampung neighbourhoods and schoolyards, generations grew up playing Baling Selipar—a simple, energetic group game built around stacked slippers, an accurate throw and the challenge of putting the pieces back together.
Its real appeal was never the equipment alone. It was the laughter, friendly rivalry, quick decisions, dodging, teamwork and shared memories. With simple objects and a place to gather, a game could begin.
That spirit is the starting point for S4SAR. Rather than replace the tradition, we want to give its core idea a new platform that more people can discover, play and celebrate.
WE ARE NOT LEAVING OUR HERITAGE BEHIND.
WE ARE TAKING IT FORWARD.
02 / THE EVOLUTION
S4SAR is an emerging, proposed 4-versus-4 sport inspired by Baling Selipar: a modern game concept shaped by industrial design, sport and the possibilities of digital connection.
Baling Selipar inspires the core rhythm: throw, scatter, evade and rebuild.
Purpose-designed equipment introduces the Thrower, three Proxes and a proposed dedicated arena format.
A structured team-versus-team concept creates room for tactics, skill, safety evaluation and competitive play.
Our envisioned digital ecosystem connects learning, player progression, events and community participation.
Development status: S4SAR is a developing sport and product concept. Equipment designs, gameplay details, digital features and events are proposed and subject to testing, refinement and partnerships.
03 / THE PEOPLE BEHIND THE IDEA
